On the ground floor there is a good size, new and fully equipped kitchen/dining room with washing machine/dryer; dishwasher, microwave and table seating 8. There is a large sitting room with tv/dvd/video and a contemporary wood-burning stove for chilly nights (the house also has full central heating) together with a second sitting room/garden room with double doors opening onto a terrace and garden. Both rooms have estuary views.

   

Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom (again looking across the water); a twin bedroom with door opening onto a wonderful, secret terrace area; a twin bunk room, family bathroom and a separate shower room. Upstairs there is the first floor master bedroom suite which has breathtaking views across the estuary to Fowey - and an en-suite bathroom (note: as this room is approached via a quirky staircase it is not suitable for small children or anyone unsteady on their feet. The room also has irregular ceiling heights).



Outside there is parking for two cars and an imaginative, tropically planted garden on various levels with ample space to eat an al fresco meal, read a book or simply doze in the sun. Garden furniture is provided and a summerhouse provides a tranquil spot to absorb the wonderful view across the village over the estuary and Fowey.

Driftwood comes fully equipped with much to make your stay a pleasure including books, dvd's and an additional portable television as well as the main set. In the second sitting room there is a small desk with telephone/internet connections (please ask for details) for anyone who is unlucky enough to have to work whilst visiting!!
